2012 2X Vision

2X VISION

On this past Sunday Pastor Brendan Witton shared about our vision and strategy for 2012 called the 2X Vision. (You can listen to the message here – (January 29th – A Church Without Walls))

Here is a brief overview:

Our GOAL: to double as a church in 2012

  • From an average of 250 every Sunday to 500
  • From 30 ConneXions to 60 ConneXions
  • To double our average monthly financial giving

Our STRATEGY:

  1. Go deeper in love – we started this year diving deep into the relentless love of God and we will continue to stay “rooted and grounded” in this love through out the year. Love for God and people is our motivation as we desire to grow and expand.
  2. Pray. Pray. Pray. – simply put: to double we are going to need the LORD’S strength and power and we are going to need to pray. We are going to have prayer calls Monday to Friday at 5 a.m., 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., 9 a.m. prayer on Sundays and special seasons of prayer throughout the year as the LORD leads.
  3. Operation 2X – “everybody go get somebody” – in John 1:42 we see that Andrew met Jesus and then he went and got his brother Peter and brought him to Jesus. If every current member of CWL will believe God to get one person this year then we will effectively double.

Key Themes in this Season:

  1. The HOME – We feel the Lord really wants to strengthen homes in 2012 – marriages, families, and financial circumstances.
  2. HEALING – We feel the Lord is calling us to move deeper in the healing anointing this year – and believe for even more healing, signs and wonders in 2012!
  3. The HARVEST – We do not want to double simply through transfer-growth of Christians from other churches but we want to see people who do not know Jesus repent from sin and put their faith in him!
  4. Our HOUSE – We believe the Lord is calling us to renew our faith and focus regarding finding the physical ‘house’ for Church Without Limits. We want to work towards getting our own building.
